Thailand definitely isn’t lacking in the shopping department. Throughout the country, you can find bright and bustling markets and street-side hawkers selling everything from underwear to exotic birds. In big cities like Bangkok and Phuket, you can find a fair share of malls and supercenters.

If you forget to pack something, you can likely find it either down a sidewalk aisle or in a more traditional supermarket. Advice to Those Who Want to Teach English in Thailand

Angie Remsen caught the travel bug at age 39 and left the U.S. for a job in Kuwait. After seeing what the world had to offer, she went to Thailand to teach English and eat her way through Southeast Asia. I took a major gamble in 2012 when I applied for a transfer to Kuwait with the company I worked for at the time.
